For my Shepard, if the ending was all a nightmare just before the attack on the Cerberus base, I would have Liara take over the mission and lead. She can lead anytime.
Then I would bring Javik for his Dark Channel ability to quickly drain the life force out of enemies and I would have to bring EDI as she is a required teammate. Shepard would come along as another teammate to give Cerberus a butt kicking for what they did in Mass Effect 1, 2, and for the horrible things in 3. He would be tired and not too well after that awful nightmare, so his powers would be on really long recharge times.
And I would be spamming biotics like crazy. And for Phantoms: a Disciple shotgun blast to the face.
This would be so much better than the endings we got, and would be a great time to have more than three team members. And it might make things more interesting.
But I am not sure if that will happen.

How could BioWare made most of my favorite squad members die like that. And even Shepard in both green and blue ending .. sacrifice him/herself for the whole galaxy ; A;
The only way I could see Shepard alive is in the most badass way is red ending, I have too choose Renegade way T_T
